    • I don’t think they are considered a side characters anymore, it is clearly now that the author building them to be a huge part in the plot now … but I understand what your point, we spending so much time with them but we stilldon’t know anything about farlyn….. we need to know what happens to farlyn u_u fr

  1. This manga’s world is so much more layered and involved than just “main character” and “side character”. It’s a living, breathing world where everyone has their own story, motivations and goals, and I enjoy that writing because each character has some more thought put into their creation aside from being a plot device to make the MCs look better (like other shounen tend to do).

I friggin love the fact that the characters who split from Laios’ party continued to exist and do their own thing instead of exist in a void. This shit’s gold

    • spittin’ straight facts. if someone complains about something as stupid as “wasting time on side characters” maybe they should back to reading mid shit that doesn’t care about actual world and character building.

  2. oh man this Kabru is way creepier then i thought! So hypocritically self-righteous!

“They’re bad people and don’t care about others”, he says without knowing a thing about them. Or the governor. Bro’s on his high horse and somehow is utterly ignorant that those ‘bad people’ saved their corpses twice, prevented them from being eaten and unable to be resurrected AND gave them spells of protection. lmao. I can get being upset about being ‘robbed’ but c’mon. Get over yourselves.
And look! They almost died again! Cuz they talk big that’s all. And now these ‘good guys’ are gonna manipulate someone but it’s okay. Cuz they’re good and the other people are bad so it’s okay to do what you want to them.

    • Agreed. Big mouth with no muscle to back it up. His self righteousness really started showing when he executed the resurrection man the previous episode.

    • Kabru is basically a narcissist who believes he’s better than others even though he’s weak. He likes to read people like if they were books and takes advantage of whom he believes are easily manipulable.
